Tip #1. Increase your water intake. Doing so allows the systems of the body to function optimally. Hydrating with water also helps to flush out toxins.

Tip #2. Get adequate sleep. Many people aren’t getting the full uninterrupted sleep that they need. It’s vital that adults get at least seven hours of sleep a night to boost their immune system.

Tip #3. Cut out or significantly limit your intake of simple sugars. Remember that sugar has many aliases so make sure you read labels.

Tip #4. Practice belly breathing. We get stressed and start to use a lot of our chest to breathe. Focusing on the belly will activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which will help decrease our overall stress response. Keep one hand on the belly and one hand on the chest. Try to expand the hand on the belly further than the one on the chest to drive the diaphragm and stimulate the parasympathetic response.

Tip #5. Get adjusted. A chiropractic adjustment will help to improve your overall immune system.
